Right then, this is a proper chippy. Fish cooked fresh while you wait circa 10 mins. I opted for haddock with skin which was nice firm flakey chunks with a crispy batter. Love a battered sausage on the side which was nice meaty flavour with crispy skin again which you can tell has been cooked fresh and not sitting for days. I Only got a regular size chips which is enough for two and again nice and crispy with the fluffiness potato inside. Curry sauce and mushy peas on the side were bang on too. You know it’s proper when you don’t think greasy or sluggish afterwards. Can’t complain for £20 all in. Highly recommend.

Our new favourite chippy. Fish and chips are always fresh and not greasy, generous portions, the batter is spot on, crispy and tasty, the chips are proper chippy chips, good quality food all round. Lovely friendly smiling staff. Highly recommend Golden Fry if you're looking for decent fish and chips. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Collected take away on Saturday evening. Large cod and chips were excellent. Portions were big and attested brilliant. Chips were perfect mix of crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Fish was very nice too. Good with checking for allergens too.
